At noon on September 23, 2024, the Bay Area Council warmly welcomed a delegation led by His Excellency Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, with a cordial and formal luncheon held in the main conference room of the Mebo Garden on the top floor of the Council’s headquarters (Klamath). Li Li, a board member of Mebo Group, co-hosted the reception alongside Sean Randolph, Director of the Bay Area Council Economic Institute, on behalf of Mebo Group Chairman Xu Peng (Executive Director of the Bay Area Council and Chairman of the International Committee). The event reflected the Council’s strong emphasis on and expectations for international partnerships.
During the luncheon, the parties engaged in in-depth and productive discussions on strengthening economic and trade relations, promoting project collaboration, and deepening cultural exchanges.
